Our Purpose...
A Coy, 1st Can Para is a group of living history reenactors based in Atlantic Canada. We are a reenactors who have come together to honour the men of the original 1st Canadian Parachute Battalion during World War II. We will accurately portray an impression of this elite paratroop force as well as present to the general public a small but significant and important part of Canada's military history. Like the original battalion, we have set very demanding guidelines for our members to follow which will limit our displays to accurate reenactments in every respect possible. As members, we are seriously committed people, doing our part in the organisation to insure the success for all to enjoy.
